According to this differentiation, \u201cthe climate of Kefalonia is classified as a marine or subtropical Mediterranean climate<\/span>\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\">zone, characterized by the combination of the ocean, as a temperature regulator, with the advantages of the Mediterranean climate, thus avoiding the disturbing characteristics of both continental and oceanic climates\u201d.
